The Ambassador Committee focuses on marketing/communications and membership to provide ongoing support to the Vaughan Chamber of Commerce and its membership. The focus of this committee is to enhance the member experience and increase membership value. Not only is this committee a touch point for our members, they also continue to develop interesting promotional and branding opportunities that businesses can take advantage of. BAA Core Committee
The BAA Core Committee meets regularly to execute the Chamber’s most prestigious event of the year. From the nomination process, to judging, to selecting finalists, the Core Committee is instrumental to ensuring the transparancy of the process. This committee also assists the Chamber with the planning of the awards dinner, which includes securing sponsorship, selling tickets, and selecting entertainment.
BAA Interviewing Committee
The members of the Interviewing Committee review the nominees and in teams of two, interview the 5 finalist companies for each award category. The short-list of award candidates is presented to the judges who then anonymously vote on each candidate to select the winner and two finalists.
Business Advisory Committee
The Vaughan Chamber’s Resource Committee is a diverse group of successful local professionals with a mission to support economic growth in the city of Vaughan. This committee aims to be a resource for businesses starting up, expanding within, moving to, and/or integrating within the Vaughan community. From providing mentoring support, to helping businesses become aware of opportunities that exist in Vaughan, the Resource Committee is focused on business success.
Government Relations Committee

The Government Relations committee is the voice of the Vaughan Chamber of Commerce (VCC) regarding government related issues and policies. When appropriate issues arise; the VCC advocates on behalf of the membership, in support of Vaughan businesses. The committee provides members with a forum to advance concerns, develop policy positions, advocate for change and network with government officials and other business leaders.
Community & Sustainability Committee

It is the objective of this committee to support the Vaughan Chamber of Commerce (VCC) and its members with community and environmental sustainability. The VCC will champion our members’ efforts to contribute to a resilient, sustainable, diverse and inclusive future with the Chamber as a key component of our members’ giving strategy. Together we will convene stakeholders across all sectors and industries, raise awareness through engagement, align efforts, and invest in the social and environmental priority areas impacting our city.
Digital Transformation Committee

This committee supports the VCC and the business community by leveraging awareness and education in the areas of digital transformation. The four pillars this committee focuses on are education, guidance & mentorship, technology advocacy, and emerging technology enablers.
Women’s Leadership Committee
The Women’s Committee is the driving force behind the Vaughan Chamber’s Women’s events, including the Women to Women Symposium, spring women’s networking event, and fall Woman of Excellence Awards dinner. This committee assists with the planning and execution of these events and strives to Inspire, Empower and Connect women in business.
