BAA Core Committee
The BAA Core Committee meets regularly to execute the Chamber’s most prestigious event of the year. From the nomination process, to judging, to selecting finalists, the Core Committee is instrumental to ensuring the transparency of the process. This committee also assists the Chamber with the planning of the awards dinner, which includes securing sponsorship, selling tickets, and selecting entertainment.
BAA Interviewing Committee
The members of the Interviewing Committee review the nominees and in teams of two, interview the 5 finalist companies for each award category. The short-list of award candidates is presented to the judges who then anonymously vote on each candidate to select the winner and two finalists.

The Vaughan Chamber’s Community Ambassador Committee is a passionate group of successful local professionals with a mission to spread awareness of the Vaughan Chamber and our programs and services. Look for members of this committee at Vaughan Chamber events. They will be ready to welcome you and answer any questions you may have about the benefits of membership.

Infrastructure Council
The Infrastructure Council serves as the voice of the Vaughan Chamber of Commerce on infrastructure-related issues and priorities affecting Vaughan’s business community. The Council brings together industry leaders, Chamber members and key stakeholders to identify challenges, develop policy recommendations and advance solutions related to transportation, construction, utilities, energy and long-term growth. It also provides members with a forum to share expertise, support the Chamber’s advocacy efforts and engage with government officials and other business leaders on the infrastructure needed to support Vaughan’s continued economic development.

Women’s Leadership Committee

The Women’s Committee is the driving force behind the Vaughan Chamber’s Women’s events, including the Women to Women Symposium, Spring Women’s Networking event, and fall Woman of Excellence Awards dinner. This committee assists with the planning and execution of these events and strives to Inspire, Empower and Connect women in business.

The Finance Committee meets on a monthly basis to provide financial oversight and support the Vaughan Chamber’s financial activities. The committee assists the VCC leadership with budget and financial planning, financial reporting, and monitoring internal controls and accountability policies.

The Sustainable Advisory Committee (SAC) provides advice for best-in-class business practices in Vaughan by providing guidance and support to local businesses. Our mission is to educate and raise awareness about corporate social and environmental sustainability, including the environment, sustainable financing, energy security and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). Through tailored initiatives, educational programs, and networking opportunities, we empower businesses to integrate sustainability into their operations, bridging the gap between sustainability goals and financial considerations.
