Government Relations Committee
The Government Relations committee is the voice of the Vaughan Chamber of Commerce (VCC) regarding government related issues and policies. When appropriate issues arise; the VCC advocates on behalf of the membership, in support of Vaughan businesses. The committee provides members with a forum for members to advance concerns, develop policy positions, advocate for change and network with government officials and other business leaders. The Government Relations committee meets monthly.

Marketing / Communications (MarCom) Committee
The MarCom Committee provides ongoing promotional support to the Vaughan Chamber of Commerce by developing materials, resources and technology that will enhance the marketing and communications initiatives of the Chamber. The MarCom Committee meets monthly.
The mission of the Membership Committee is to attract and retain members by ensuring they receive value for their membership. Examples of programs include; focus groups, peer groups, Membership Matters Sessions, new categories of membership and the Ambassadors Program. The Membership Committee meets monthly.
The Women’s Committee meets monthly to plan the annual Women to Women Symposium (fall) and Women ‘Do’ Golf (spring). The committee assists with planning and executing the event program, ticket sales, give-aways and sponsorship.
Business Achievement Awards (BAA) Committees
BAA Core Committee
The BAA Core Committee meets monthly to plan this annual signature event. The committee together with VCC staff arrange the entertainment, emcee, venue, and manage the interviewing & judging process to select the finalists. In addition, the committee provides back-up interviewers, secures sponsorship, and sells tickets.
BAA Interview Committee
The members of the Interview Committee review the nominees and in teams of two, interview the 5 finalist companies for each award category. The short-list of award candidates are presented to the judges for final selection and anonymous voting to select the winner and two finalists.
